INTRODUCTION
Pipettes are used for manipulating and transferring mouse embryos. This protocol describes a method for making pipettes from hard glass capillaries.
MATERIALS
Equipment
Bunsen/alcohol burner (small) or microburner
Glass test tubes with metal caps (BDH)
Hard glass capillary tubing (1.5-mm external diameter) or narrow part of glass Pasteur pipette cut off with a diamond-point pencil
