SDS sample solubilization buffer

1% (w/v) SDS

100 mM Tris-HCl (pH 9.5)

To prepare 50 ml of SDS sample buffer, dissolve 0.5 g of SDS and 0.6 g of Tris base in ~40 ml of deionized H2O. Titrate to pH 9.5 with 4 N HCl, filter, and adjust the volume to 50 ml with deionized H2O.
