Saline/EDTA solution plus glucose

EDTA (disodium salt), 0.02 g

NaCl, 0.8 g

KCl, 0.02 g

Na₂HPO₄ anhydrous, 0.115 g

KH₂PO₄, 0.02 g

Phenol red, 0.001 g

Glucose, 0.02 g

Add the above ingredients to H₂O to make a 100 ml solution. Check that the pH is 7.2. Filter-sterilize or autoclave (121°C, 15 psi for 15 minutes). Store at room temperature. The glucose can be omitted for tissue culture alone.
