EDTA, 93 g

Tris base, 0.6 g

N-Laurylsarcosine, 5 g (Sigma)

Mix 350 ml of H₂O with 93 g of EDTA and 0.6 g of Tris base. Equilibrate to pH >8.0 with solid NaOH pellets. Add 5 g of N-laurylsarcosine (Sigma) predissolved in 50 ml of H₂O. Equilibrate to pH 9.0 with 10 M NaOH and bring the final volume to 500 ml with H₂O. Filter-sterilize (0.22 micron). Store at 4°C.
