Peptone, 20 g

Glucose, 20 g

Yeast extract, 10 g

H2O to 1000 mL

YPD (YEPD medium) is a complex medium for routine growth of yeast.

To prepare plates, add 20 g of Bacto Agar (2%) before autoclaving.
