Gelatin in PBS
Gelatin
Use ice-cold PBS for all cell and tissue preparations, except white blood cells. In the latter case, the PBS should be at room temperature.
To prepare a 2% (w/v) solution of gelatin in PBS: Add 2 g of gelatin to a total volume of 100 ml of PBS and autoclave the solution for 15 minutes at 15 psi (1.05 kg/cm 2) on liquid cycle.
