SYBR Gold

SYBR Gold (Molecular Probes) is supplied as a stock solution of unknown concentration in dimethylsulfoxide. Agarose gels are stained in a working solution of SYBR Gold, which is a 1:10,000 dilution of SYBR Gold nucleic acid stain in electrophoresis buffer. Prepare working stocks of SYBR Gold daily and store in the dark at regulated room temperature.
