0.5% Nonidet P-40

1 mM EDTA (pH 8.0)

20 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.0)

Just before use, add protease inhibitors to the following final concentrations: 2 μg/μl aprotinin, 1 μg/μl leupeptin, 0.7 μg/ml pepstatin, and 25 μg/ml phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride (PMSF).
