Fixation solution

11% formaldehyde (from a 37% stock equilibrated with methanol)

100 mM NaCl

1 mM EDTA

0.5 mM EGTA

50 mM HEPES (pH 8)

100 mM PMSF (phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride) in isopropanol

Prepare immediately before use.
