Rehydration solution

8 M urea

1.5% (w/v) CHAPS

Dissolve 48 g of urea and 1.5 g of CHAPS in water to a final volume of 100 ml.

Divide the rehydration solution into 2.5- to 5-ml aliquots, and freeze them at -20ºC.
