Stacking gel (5%)

To prepare 5% stacking gel mixture, combine in the following order:

2 ml of 30% acrylamide mix

3 ml of 0.5 M Tris-HCl (pH 6.8)

0.12 ml of 10% (w/v) SDS

6.76 ml of H₂O

0.12 ml of 10% ammonium persulfate

0.006 ml of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylelthylenediamine (TEMED)
