Selection plates

MS (Murashige and Skoog) salts (0.5X)

Agar (0.7% [w/v])

Kanamycin (50 μg/ml)

After autoclaving the MS salts and agar in H2O, cool the medium to 60ºC and then add the kanamycin. The concentration of 50 μg/ml kanamycin may be too high for pBIN19-transformed plants; if none of the seedlings survive, try 25 μg/ml.
