EGTA (5 mM)

This should be from a stock of 0.1 M EGTA at pH 8.0.

Glutaraldehyde (0.2%) (Sigma)

MgCl2 (2 mM)

Phosphate buffer (0.1 M, pH 7.3), prepared using phosphate buffer tablets (e.g., BDH)
