Hybridization master mix

8 g dextran sulfate (Amersham)

SSC, diluted to 2X

Dissolve 8 g dextran sulfate in 40 ml of 2X SSC, vortex, and filter using a 0.45-μm filter. Store in aliquots at −20°C.
