Recipe

MBS salts (10X)

NaCl (880 mM)

KCl (10 mM)

MgSO4 (10 mM)

HEPES (50 mM, pH 7.8)

Omit HEPES if MBS is to be used for oocyte maturation.

NaHCO3 (25 mM)

Adjust pH to 7.8 with NaOH. Autoclave. Store at room temperature.
