Calcium magnesium-free medium (CMFM)

Reagent Amount to add Final concentration
5 M NaCl 17.6 ml 88 mM
1 M KCl 1 ml 1 mM
1 M NaHCO3 2.4 ml 2.4 mM
1 M Tris-Cl (pH 7.6) 7.5 ml 7.5 mM
H2O 971.5 ml
Prepare CMFM from sterile stocks. Store it at room temperature.
