Immunohistochemistry blocking solution

Reagent Final concentration
Tris-Cl (pH 7.4) 10 mM
MgCl2 100 mM
Tween 20 0.5% (v/v)
Bovine serum albumin (BSA) 1% (w/v)
Fetal bovine serum (FBS) 5% (v/v)
Do not use calf serum in place of FBS; FBS has lower amounts of IgGs. Store the blocking solution in aliquots at -20°C. Do not freeze-thaw.
