Fixative for plastic-embedded tissue

1.5% (v/v) glutaraldehyde (EM grade, 25% [v/v] stock solution)

0.3% (v/v) paraformaldehyde

25 mM PIPES buffer

0.1% (v/v) Tween 20 (not required when fixing roots)
