1% (w/v) gelatin (cold water fish)

PBS (1X) containing 0.001% (v/v) Tween 20 and Triton X-100

The gelatin in PBSG acts as a competitive inhibitor of nonspecific staining. Triton X-100 is used as a detergent to facilitate access of antibody to antigen.
