bFGF solution (10 μg/mL)

10 μg recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF; R&D 233-FB)

1 mL PBS (1X) containing 0.2% bovine serum albumin (BSA)

Dissolve recombinant human bFGF in 1X PBS containing 0.2% BSA. Store in 100-μL aliquots at −20°C. bFGF is sticky, so minimize contact with any plastic surfaces. Do not filter bFGF solutions; instead, filter media after adding bFGF.
