MMR for lamprey (10X)

Reagent Quantity (for 1000 mL) Final concentration
CaCl2•2H2O 2.94 g 20 mM
EDTA (0.5 M) 2 mL 1 mM
HEPES (1 M) 50 mL 50 mM
KCl 1.491 g 20 mM
MgSO4 1.204 g 10 mM
NaCl 58.44 g 1 M
H2O to 1 L
Mix all other ingredients well before adding CaCl2. Adjust the pH to 7.8 with 1 M NaOH. Prepare MMR as a 10X stock, then dilute to 1X or 0.1X with H2O and autoclave before use. The 10X stock can be stored for several months to years at room temperature.
