Reagent Amount to add (for 500 mL) Final concentration
5 M NaCl 50 mL 10%
1 M Tris-Cl (pH 7.5) 5 mL 1%
0.5 M EDTA (pH 8.0) 1 mL 0.2%
RNAse-free H2O 444 mL 88.8%
All reagents should be RNase-free. Dissolve reagents at room temperature. Store solution at room temperature until needed. Prepare fresh before use.
