TBS for immunohistochemistry (10X)

Reagent Quantity (for 1 L) Final concentration
Tris base 61 g 0.5 M
NaCl 90 g 1.55 M
H2O 1 L
Mix to dissolve. Adjust the pH to 7.6 using concentrated HCl. Store the 10X stock solution at room temperature for up to 2 mo. Before use, dilute 1:10 in H2O and readjust the pH to 7.6 if necessary. The working solution is stable for up to 2 wk at room temperature.
