Fix buffer for embryos (FBE)

Reagent Quantity (for 100 mL) Final concentration
Modified phosphate-buffered saline (10X) 10 mL 1X
1 M EGTA 5 mL 50 mM
Formaldehyde 10 mL 10% (v/v)
Adjust the final volume to 100 mL with H2O. Prepare fresh for each use. The solution can be filter-sterilized and stored for ~1 yr.
