Lysis stock solution

Reagent Quantity (for 1 L) Final concentration
NaCl 146.1 g 2.5 M
Na2EDTA 37.2 g 100 mM
Tris base 1.2 g 10 mM
NaOH 8 g 200 mM
N-lauroylsarcosine sodium salt 10 g 1%
Add above reagents to 800 mL of H2O. Adjust pH to 10. Adjust final volume to 1 L with H2O. Store at room temperature.
