MAB (5X)

Reagent Quantity (for 500 mL) Final concentration
Maleic acid 29 g 500 mM
NaCl 21.9 g 750 mM
NaOH pellets 19.5 g
Dissolve the reagents in 400 mL of H2O. Adjust the pH to 7.5 with NaOH and then add H2O to give a final volume of 500 mL. Autoclave for 20 min at 15 psi on liquid cycle. Store at room temperature.
