DAB substrate

DAB (3,3′-diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride) (1 mg/mL; e.g., Sigma D5637)

K/Na-phosphate buffer (67 mM, pH 7.4)

Immediately before use, add 10 μL/mL of 3% H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) (i.e., to a final H2O2 concentration of 0.03%).
