Hybridization solution for rabbit

Recipe

Reagent	Amount to add (for 50 mL)	Final concentration
DEPC-H₂O	18.6 mL	--
Formamide	25 mL	50%
SSC (20X, pH 4.5)	3.5 mL	1.4X SSC
EDTA (0.5 M in DEPC-H₂O)	0.05 mL	0.5 mM
tRNA (10 mg/mL)	0.25 mL	50 μg/mL
Tween 20	0.1 mL	0.2%
CHAPS (100 mg/mL in DEPC-H₂O) (filter-sterilized before use)	2.5 mL	0.5%
Heparin (50 mg/mL in DEPC-H₂O)	0.05 mL	50 μg/mL

Add all reagents in the order indicated. Stir until all ingredients are dissolved. Always prepare fresh for each experiment; store excess buffer for no longer than 24 h at 4°C.
