CARD-FISH amplification buffer

Reagent Amount to add
Blocking solution 0.4 mL
Dextran sulfate 2.0 g
NaCl (5 M) 16 mL
Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS; 10X) 4.0 mL
H2O to 40 mL
Mix all reagents in a 50-mL tube. Heat to 40°C-60°C. Shake until the dextran sulfate dissolves completely. Aliquots of the buffer can be stored for several weeks at 4°C.
