Neutral red solution

5 g neutral red powder

1.53 g sodium acetate (anhydrous)

0.6 mL acetic acid (glacial)

Prepare in 500 mL H2O. Stir overnight and filter.

Neutral red solution is light-sensitive and should be protected from light.
