X-gal stock (4%)

X-gal (Gold Biotechnology X4281C10)

DMF (dimethylformamide)

Dissolve X-gal in DMF at a concentration of 40 mg/mL to make a 4% solution.

Store in a polypropylene-free vial, protected from light, at −20°C.
