ProtK lysis buffer

5 mM EDTA

200 mM NaCl

0.2% SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate)

100 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.5)

Before use, add fresh 1/100 volume of a 10 mg/mL proteinase K stock solution (store at −20 °C).
