Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM; GIBCO/Invitrogen)

10% normal calf serum

1% penicillin/streptomycin (Cellgro)

1% L-glutamine (Cellgro)

Filter-sterilize through a 0.22-μm filter.
