300 mM KCl

1.5 mM MgCl2

0.05% Nonidet P-40 (NP-40)

Immediately before use, add:

0.5 mM PMSF (phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride)

Protease inhibitor cocktail (1 tablet; Roche Applied Science 11836170001)
