Recipe

Reagent	Amount to add (for 20 mL)	Final concentration
HEPES buffer	17.175 mL
3-Azido-7-(diethylamino) coumarin (40 mM prepared in DMSO)^a	25 μL	50 μM
D-Glucose (5% stock in HEPES buffer)	0.8 mL	0.2%
Fetal bovine serum	2 mL	10%

Prepare the mix fresh immediately before each labeling experiment.
