RIPA buffer for yeast lysis

150 mM NaCl

1% Nonidet P-40

0.5% sodium deoxycholate

0.1% SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate)

50 mM Tris-Cl (pH 7.2)

Just before use, add the following protease inhibitors to the final concentrations indicated:

1 μg/mL aprotinin

1 μg/mL leupeptin

1 μg/mL pepstatin

50 μg/mL PMSF (phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride)
