Master Binding Mix

Reagent Quantity (for 1 mL) Final concentration
Tris (1 m, pH 7.6) 20 µL 20 mm
NaCl or KCl (1 m) 20–200 µL 20–200 mm
Dithiothreitol (DTT; 1 m) 1 µL 1 mm
Bovine serum albumin (BSA; 20 mg/mL) 2.5 µL 50 µg/mL
Glycerol (50%, w/v) 200 µL 10%
H2O to 1 mL
  • Store for 6 mo at –20°C. Add MgCl2 or magnesium acetate to 1–5 mm if needed.
