DMEM for 293T Cells

Use complete Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium, supplemented with the following:

• 10% fetal bovine serum

• 2 mm l-glutamine

• 1 mm sodium pyruvate

• 100 µm MEM nonessential amino acids

• 5 mm HEPES

• 5.5 × 10⁻⁵ m β-mercaptoethanol

• 100 units/mL penicillin

• 100 µg/mL streptomycin

In addition, 20 µg/mL ciprofloxacin can be used to prevent mycoplasma contamination.
