Biotin Stock (5000×)

Dissolve 10 mg of biotin (Sigma-Aldrich B4639) in 200 mL of D-PBS with phenol red to prepare biotin stock. Add 0.1 n NaOH in 5-µL drops to aid in dissolving. Make 10-µL aliquots and store at −20°C.
