Paclitaxel (10 mm)

Prepare a 10 mm paclitaxel stock solution by dissolving the powder (Millipore/Calbiochem 580555 or Sigma-Aldrich T7191) in DMSO. (Paclitaxel is also soluble in acetonitrile or methanol.) Store in small aliquots at −20°C. Paclitaxel in DMSO is stable to repeated freezing and thawing. However, paclitaxel hydrolyzes in aqueous solution; therefore, only prepare enough paclitaxel-containing buffer for a given experiment.
