Cell Culture Medium for Virus Production

Prepare 10-mL aliquots of antibiotic-antimycotic (100×) (Life Technologies 15240-062) in 15-mL conical tubes and store at −20°C. To prepare cell culture medium, add 100 mL of fetal bovine serum (characterized; Thermo Scientific SH30071.02) and 10 mL of antibiotic–antimycotic to a 1000-mL bottle of Dulbecco's modified Eagle medium (DMEM) (high glucose; Life Technologies 11995-081) and mix well. Store at 4°C for up to several months.
