Reduced Cytochrome c Solution
-
1. Dissolve oxidized cytochrome c (Sigma-Aldrich) in 0.05 m potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.0 at room temperature) to make a 20 mm solution.
-
2. Reduce with 0.2 mg of sodium dithionite (Sigma-Aldrich).
-
3. Dialyze for 24 h at 4°C against 0.05 m potassium phosphate buffer (pH 7.0 at room temperature).
-
4. Immediately before use, mix 30 µL of 20 mm reduced cytochrome c with 1 mL of 0.05 m potassium phosphate buffer.
