50 mm HEPES-KOH (pH 7.5)

140 mm NaCl

1% Triton

1 mm EDTA

0.1% (w/v) Sodium deoxycholate

1 mm PMSF

Proteinase inhibitor cocktail (e.g., Roche cOmplete, EDTA-free)

Combine components except PMSF and proteinase inhibitor and filter-sterilize. (This solution can be stably stored for many months at room temperature.) Add PMSF and proteinase inhibitor cocktail immediately before use.
