Citrate 100 mm (pH 5)
 Na3-citrate 1.91 g
 Citrate 0.72 g
Substrate (4-methylumbelliferyl-2-acetamido-2-deoxy-β-d-glucopyranoside; Sigma-Aldrich M2133) 19 mg    0.5 mm
Sucrose  8.6 g    0.27 m
Aliquot and store at −20°C.
