Protoplast Transformation Solution A

EDTA    40 mm
Sorbitol     1.2 m
β-mercaptoethanol 30 mm (0.2%)
Dissolve the EDTA and sorbitol in citrate-phosphate buffer (20 mm, pH 5.6). Sterilize by autoclaving. Add β-mercaptoethanol just before use.
