Protoplast Transformation Solution B

Sorbitol     1.2 m
β-mercaptoethanol 30 mm (0.2%)
Sterilize by autoclaving. Add β-mercaptoethanol just before use.
Dissolve the sorbitol in citrate-phosphate buffer (50 mm, pH 5.6). Sterilize by autoclaving. Add β-mercaptoethanol just before use.
