| Prepare in deionized water. Adjust pH to ~8.5 with methanesulfonic acid (CH3SO3H) before adding Tris-creatine phosphate, Mg-ATP, and Na2-GTP. Adjust final pH to 7.2 with methanesulfonic acid (CH3SO3H). (Osmolality should range between 290 and 305 mmol/kg.) Filter internal recording solution using a 0.2-µm-pore membrane
filter. Divide into 5-mL aliquots and store up to 6 mo at −20°C.
