| To block endogenous potassium channels, substitute 20 mm NaCl with 20 mm tetraethylammonium chloride (TEA·Cl) so that the solution contains 100 mm NaCl and 20 mm TEA·Cl. | |
| Adjust pH to 7.4 with NaOH. Make fresh on the day of use. Store at room temperature during the day of use. | |
