Intracellular Solution for Outside-Out Patch Recording

Reagent Final concentration
KCl 107.1 mm
EGTA   11 mm
CaCl2    1 mm
MgCl2    1 mm
HEPES   10 mm
Tetraethylammonium chloride (TEA·Cl)   20 mm
Prepare this solution (adapted from Groot-Kormelink et al. 2002) by combining the reagents above and adjusting the pH to 7.2 with KOH. Store for up to 6 months at −20°C.
