Synthetic Dextrose Proline (SDP) Plates with Drugs
Mix yeast nitrogen base without ammonium sulfate and without amino acids (1.7 g/L), l-proline (0.5 g/L), dextrose (20 g/L), and Bacto agar (20 g/L) in 1 L of (distilled or deionized) H2O, and autoclave. After autoclaving, add one of the following filter-sterilized drugs, as required, to the appropriate final concentration: bialaphos (200 µg/mL), phosphinothricin (600–800 µg/mL), or d-serine (2 mg/mL). After cooling to 55°C–60°C, pour medium into Petri dishes.
